The Magic Drip supports pre-defined and custom variables to be used as placeholders. You can these variables for personalizations.
When importing a CSV, we can customize how you want to import it. We have three choices:
Do not import
Custom Variable
Pre-defined Variable
For example:
How to write the message?
Hi ##first_name## - I saw an issue with ##website##.
Would love to connect and discuss.
What is the final output?
Hi Adam - I saw an issue with http://www.aflac.com
Would love to connect and discuss.
How can I find variable name for a 'custom variable'?
To find the variable names, just click on the lead name in the Campaign > Leads section. This page will show all available variables attached to the lead.
Note for First Name, Last Name, Company and Company LinkedIn Url we will auto-source the data if you do not provide it. The auto-sourced data will show up eventually as the leads are processed and may not be available immediately.
Conclusion
The personalization feature is very powerful since it allows arbitrary amounts of personalization.
