Establishing Activity Limits

Maximizing your results on LinkedIn

Updated over a week ago

Expectations

LinkedIn expects users to grow their network and be part of the professional community in a natural and organic way. For example, it is impossible to add 500 connections in a week because it is not meaningfully possible to meet and establish a relation with 500 people. Similarly, you cannot browse thousands of profiles without coming across as a bot trying to scrape linkedin.

Types of LinkedIn Actions

In order to maximize performance, we offer a way for you to adjust your activity limits.

  • Connection Request

  • Messages

  • Likes

  • Follows

  • Profile Views

Connection Requests

100-200 weekly limit. Recommended to be around 20-30 / day if you have an established LinkedIn account, otherwise should start at 3-5 / day.
โ€‹
When the number of pending connection requests reach around 3k, then LinkedIn might prohibit future connection requests. So it is recommended to use the withdraw action in your workflows as well.

Profile Views

The above limits are for users who have had an account for few months on LinkedIn. For new accounts, the scrutiny is very high, so it is recommended to be super conservation.
